System solution MEADRAIN S

Marktl am Inn is located in the Upper Bavarian district of Altötting. The local railway station has recently been awarded the “Bavaria barrier-free” seal. In the course of the three-month renovation last summer, the local station was converted to be barrier-free. The MEADRAIN SG 1000 drainage channel was chosen for this project since it could be installed in a barrier-free manner, because of its sturdiness and because of its hydraulic capacities. The installation was carried out by the company Swietelsky. The project was supported by the Free State of Bavaria and federal funds

SOLUTION: MEADRAIN S

Approx. 237 metres of the MEADRAIN SG 1000 drainage channel with ductile-iron grating were installed at the Marktl am Inn platform. This drainage system made of robust polymer concrete is equipped with a 4 mm thick ductile iron edge protection and thus withstands high loads. The drainage channel is particularly suitable for installation in heavily frequented areas. Wide and low-placed anchoring bays guarantee a permanently secure hold in the concrete bed. The innovative CLIPFIX grate protection system speeds up the installation and maintenance.

IN A NUTSHELL

When it came to choose a drainage channel, MEADRAIN S from MEA Water Management convinced as a well thought-out and flexible complete system. The more, the convincing price-performance ratio also tipped the scales.
