INDUSTRIAL GRATING, STANDARD GRATING AND INDIVIDUAL SOLUTIONS
Industrial gratings from MEA offer a high level of installation security, because the interlocking of adjacent gratings means that MEA constructively ensures that the bearing bar always rests on the substructure. Industrial as well as standard gratings are essential elements in shipbuilding. Standard gratings are extremely stable and torsion-resistant. Anti-slip gratings are used for walkways where maximum safety is required. The slip resistance is certified according to BGR 181 and DIN 51130. In areas where the risk of slipping because of the presence of water, oil or dirt is higher special gratings are used. Their slip resistance is considerably increased thanks to recesses in the load-bearing and filler bars.
STAIR GRATING – ESSENTIAL ON BOARD
The stairs on board must guarantee the same level of safety as on walkways and platforms. They are therefore equipped with stair gratings from MEA, which offer a slip resistance class up to R 13 and are available in various widths up to 3000 mm.
CONVEYOR TRACKS AND FASTENINGS
The solution MEA offers in shipbuilding is completed by a large array of robust and corrosion free steel tracks and fastening devices that can be used for supporting sliding doors or conveying hanging loads.
