Drainage channels with low overall height

The multi-storey car park in Leoben, Austria, is a fine example of a building combining all modern architectural elements. Incorporating drainage channels into each storey represents an enormous challenge in this kind of building because the cavity available for this purpose in the floors is very narrow. The channels also need to be highly resistant to the de-icing salt that collects on the parked vehicles in winter and is distributed throughout the car park when the snow or ice thaws. The patented MEADRAIN PG system meets these requirements optimally. Surface water is drained off reliably by the ultra-flat channels, which are only 5 cm deep.

Solution – Polymer concrete channels MEADRAIN PG

Thanks to their monolithic design, MEADRAIN PG polymer concrete drainage channels are highly resistant to salt, chemical substances and oils, and they are also extremely sturdy. The grooved profile without a grating moreover ensures that cars can pass over MEADRAIN PG channels silently without any annoying noise; the acoustic properties are almost equivalent to those of a completely flat surface. Furthermore, MEADRAIN PG channels simultaneously satisfy all legal requirements regarding wheelchair users and suitability for persons with restricted mobility.
