DRAINAGE LOGISTICS AREA

The town of Altensteig is located in the Calw district of Baden-Württemberg and belongs to the Northern Black Forest region. In order to efficiently drain surface water at the DHL base located there, they were looking for a robust and durable solution that could withstand heavy loads. The perfect drainage channel was found in the MEADRAIN DM monolithic drainage system from MEA Water Management.

SOLUTION: MEADRAIN DM

Approximately 215 metres of the MEADRAIN DM drainage channel with a nominal width of 200 mm were installed at the DHL base. The installation was carried out by the company Gfrörer.

Convincing features of MEADRAIN DM are, for example, the extremely stable and durable construction thanks to the monolithic design. This ensures a high level of installation safety, lower maintenance costs and a particularly long service life.

Although MEADRAIN DM is significantly lighter than concrete channels, it is in no way inferior to them in terms of efficiency and load-bearing capacity: The high-performance channel was specially developed for intensive heavy-load traffic, such as on logistics areas. MEADRAIN DM also perfectly defies the effects of the weather; the channel is insensitive to frost, de-icing salt, oils and other chemicals.

IN A NUTSHELL

MEADRAIN DM convinced the client, as this drainage system is an extremely economical solution that meets both performance requirements and safety standards. The installation went off without any problems thanks to the intensive support provided by the field and office service.
