A new tram logistics center

When it comes to logistics, MEA sets new standards. The new generation of shelf modules features increased safety and improved load distribution. This is why they were installed at the new Munich tram depot following a public tender process. They fulfilled several challenging requirements such as quick and easy installation, absolute safety when used up to the nominal load and shift protection.

Solution – MEAMODUL XL

The MEA system – including the specified longitudinal and cross shift protection – satisfied the criteria laid down in the call for tenders in an optimal fashion and has since proved highly successful at this ultra-modern logistics centre. The admissible loading capacity is clearly visible on the side of every grating as an additional safety measure for both personnel and the material stored on the shelves. A total of 1,636 XL-type shelf modules and 366 cantilever shelf gratings were supplied.
