Ship building

Seven tons of gratings are installed in every ship at the Sietas shipyard in Hamburg. Gratings of all shapes and sizes form the steel network of gangways, stairs and platforms that bear the load of the ship’s crew walking on them.

Solution – MEA gratings

Thanks to the anti-slip function of the MEA gratings, it is not only easier for the crew to move around the ship but also safer – an advantage that should not be underestimated here. MEA supplies both standard and special-purpose gratings of all shapes and sizes.
