MEA PRODUCTS FOR THERMAL INSULATION

The topic of thermal insulation is a major issue for any construction project, may it be for new buildings or renovation projects. For some years now, the trend has been towards passive or low-energy houses. With MEA system solutions, energy saving begins where every house construction begins: in the basement. Our products are designed in such a way that, in addition to excellent functionality, they also offer excellent properties in terms of thermal insulation. In order to avoid thermal bridges, all components fit perfectly to one another and can be combined with the MEA Connect System.

BASEMENT WINDOWS FOR WARM, LIVING BASEMENTS

Improved isothermal characteristics: when the window is installed directly in the insulation plate, the ready-to-install and versatile MEALUXIT frame window system with triple glazing achieves a heat transfer coefficient of Ug = 0.6 W / m²K. Also available in passive house versions with Uw <0.8 W / m²K.

THERMAL BRIDGE-FREE ASSEMBLY

Optimized Psi values: The one-piece cover frame for MEALUXIT is also available as an insulated version (with XPS WLG 035 20 mm). The additional insulation of the reveal can significantly improve the Psi value (heat transfer coefficient).

OPTIMAL SEALING OF THE BASEMENT: THERMAL SEPARATION

Installation without thermal bridges: concrete light wells can easily be attached to the insulation material without damaging the sealing layer thanks to the MEAFIX insulated mounting panels. The precisely fitting MEAFIX insulated mounting panels for GRP light-wells perfectly adapts to the on-site perimeter insulation. The newly designed insulated mounting panel MEAFIX PRO, is the evolution of our MEAFIX panels for GRP light-wells for even better results when it comes to water protection and insulation.

All MEAFIX insulated mounting panels perfectly fir to the window cut-outs of the MEALUXIT frame windows. Thermal separation: when fastening the MEAVECTOR concrete light wells with special, thermally separated anchors, the mounting brackets are installed on the MEAFIX insulated mounting panel. The result: there is no direct contact between the bracket and the concrete wall, so that any flow of heat is effectively prevented.
