Opening of the new production hall

MEA Metal Applications GmbH and the industrial holding and shareholder ADCURAM AG are investing in a project worth millions: The steel processor is building a new production facility with an area of ​​more than 7,000 square meters on its additionally developed property in Pilsen. “After years of preparation and planning, first talks about this project took place in 2012, it is all the more gratifying today to be able to open the new hall,” says Mr. Torsten Wende, Managing Director of MEA Metal Applications GmbH in his speech at the opening ceremony. Due to Covid-19, the celebration was held on a small scale with the most important representatives who were significantly involved in the construction. With this new building, MEA and ADCURAM are looking to the future and laying the foundation for further growth.

A commitment to MEA at the Pilsen site and MEA in the Czech Republic

The new production facility not only offers space for more personnel, but also enables MEA to realign the individual areas of grating production, which will have a positive long-term effect on the production and delivery times of the gratings.

The heart of the production hall is the new galvanizing plant. The system meets all quality management requirements in order to carry out the galvanizing process in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 guideline and to be able to use the best galvanizing technology for MEA. In addition, the plant offers sufficient capacity to meet the increasing demand.
