MEA water management relies on digitization

MEA Water Management, as part of the MEA Group GmbH, is an increasingly important contact for civil engineering and landscaping companies worldwide in the field of rainwater harvesting and recycling. From collecting rainwater to reusing it, MEA Water Management offers numerous solutions to collect, channel, retain, treat, filter, reuse or infiltrate rainwater. MEA thus contributes to protecting the environment and returning the valuable commodity water to the natural water cycle.

In order to achieve these goals and to respond even better to the demands of the markets, MEA Water Management is investing in the digitization of its processes and in product innovation.

In sales, MEA Water Management is increasingly using CRM systems based on Salesforce, which are adapted to the market specifications for each country. The systems are connected to external platforms to identify and process projects and tenders. The aim is to identify and offer the best possible product solutions to planners, architects, project managers and customers right from the start of the project. In addition, the competence of the application technology of MEA Water Management was expanded by investing in BIM solutions in 2020. The BIM models are made in-house to ensure maximum reactivity, flexibility and quality. In addition, in order to open up new sales channels, online sales of a new product range were successfully launched in France in 2020.

MEA Water Management has also been continuously expanding its product portfolio for several years now. After the CLIPFIX universal grating locking system was successfully introduced, MEA developed new gravity channels made of GRP and polymer concrete for new markets, also outside of Europe. In this context, the range of channel gratings was again harmonized and expanded in order to offer customers the same grating selection, regardless of the channel system. At the same time, the grating program was supplemented with new design gratings in order to be able to offer a solution especially in inner-city areas and wherever design plays a role. This gives architects, planners and builders new and individual design options.
