§1 Collecting and processing demographic data

Every access to our website and retrieval of data stored on our website is logged. The following data are transmitted to us by your Internet browser and recorded:

  • Report of successful data retrieval
  • Date and time you accessed the website

They are stored separately from any personal information you may have provided and therefore give no indication of the personal identity of any particular individual. Furthermore, these data are deleted after statistical evaluation. Any further personal data will only be recorded if you enter them voluntarily, for example in the course of registering to use our spare parts and accessories shop (see § 2 below).

§2 Collection, use, processing, transmission and deletion of personal data

Personal data are those which can be used to personally identify either you or other individuals to which the information possibly relates.

We will only collect your personal data if you register as a customer in our online shop. We will only use the data collected in the course of registration for the purpose of contract fulfilment. Furthermore, we will only use your personal data to respond to your questions, for technical administration and for billing purposes. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express prior consent, other than for billing purposes.

However, at the request of the appropriate authorities, in isolated cases we are required to provide information regarding personal data stored by us if deemed necessary for purposes of criminal prosecution or in order to avert danger to state or public safety.

Personal data stored by us can be deleted if you revoke your consent to their storage or if the storage is not permitted for other legal reasons. If your personal data cannot yet be deleted due to legal, statutory or contractual retention periods, they will be blocked until such time as they can be fully deleted. You may view, change or delete the personal data you have transmitted to us at any time.

You have the right to gainsay the future use of your personal data and revoke your consent to their storage at any time. Furthermore, you are legally entitled to demand the correction of any incorrect data. §3 Auskunftsanspruch

Upon request we will provide you with information regarding the personal data we have stored about you. We can also send you the information electronically if so required. If this is the case, please contact the aforementioned person.

Upon request we will also be happy to provide you with your complete personal dataset information, make corrections to your data, block them, delete them or answer questions regarding the collection, storage and use of your data, free of charge and at any time.

§4 Information regarding cookies

So-called cookies are used to recognise the multiple use of our website by the same user. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser places and stores on your computer. If you revisit any of the pages of our website, these cookies provide information that enables your browser to automatically recognise you. The recognition takes place due to the IP address stored in the cookies. The information gathered in this way serves to make our website user-friendlier, more effective and safer to use as well as making it easier for you to access.
