MEA Bautechnik GmbH has appointed Markus Pfalzgraf to its management board, where he succeeds Jochen Engelke effective immediately; Engelke left the company at the end of March.
Markus Pfalzgraf has been with the company since 2014 and previously served as an authorized signatory, heading the DACHI, Benelux, Scandinavia, and Iceland profit center at SGE Water Management.
In his new role, Markus Pfalzgraf will be responsible not only for his international markets but also for sales for both business units of MEA Bautechnik in Germany. These include the MEA Water Management and MEA Building Systems divisions.
A key focus of his work is on further positioning MEA Bautechnik GmbH as a provider of solutions in the field of stormwater management.
The service portfolio is to be systematically expanded in the coming years, with a focus on areas ranging from stormwater drainage and treatment to storage and infiltration.
Markus Pfalzgraf is also placing particular emphasis on the further development of the sales organization. The goal is to strengthen customer focus and pursue sustainable market development.
“In my view, a customer-oriented organization and clearly structured, market-oriented sales processes are essential for identifying market opportunities early on and developing them in a tailored manner,” says Markus Pfalzgraf. “We will consistently realign the entire sales organization toward this goal.”
