Steel is an important construction material in virtually all areas of technology and is indispensable in the construction industry and industrial plant technology.

When MEA was founded, we used steel to manufacture our first mass produced products.

The following MEA product areas are manufactured using steel:

• Gratings
• Steel cellar windows
• Sliding door fittings
• Metal anchors

MEA steel products that are used in exposed building zones are corrosion protected in our two modern hot-dip galvanisation plants.

MEA steel products that are not as heavily exposed to the elements are zinc plated.
