Founded in 1886 as a fitter´s shop and ironmongery in Bavaria (Germany), the MEA Group has established itself as a renowned European supplier to the construction and industrial sectors.

The Group’s international customer base is served by five divisions.

• ACP (Development and manufacture of glass reinforced products - GRP)
• Fixing Systems (The Celo-Group has taken over the majority of BFS GmbH since January 1st, 2009) 

The Group's technological expertise in the processing of plastics, metal, hot-dip galvanising and polymer concrete as well as its production facilities in the Czech Republic, Holland, Germany and France and since 2008 also in Rumania and China are the foundation of MEA’s unrivalled competitiveness.

Thanks to its leading position in the cellar light well, casement window and plastic drainage channel markets, and growing market shares in drainage, industrial gratings and fastener systems, the Group's strategic business units generate annual revenues of approx. €130 million with their 800 employees.
