Founded in 1886 as a machine fitter's shop with an ironmongery, today MEA is a medium-sized corporate group which operates on the international stage and is based in the town of Aichach in Bavaria, Germany. As a supplier to the construction sector and industry, we manufacture products in Western and Eastern Europe as well as in Asia. The MEA Group has a global presence through sales companies, distribution partners and a global logistics network.
In order to be very close to the market and our customers, we have divided our company up into independent business units. Each of these business units is governed by the following guidelines: We focus on specific market segments in which we operate with a high degree of specialism in order to be able to cater efficiently for the individual requirements of our customers by offering optimum solutions.
Our contacts are mainly planners, engineering offices and architects. Processors and construction companies receive product solutions and services from us which meet their supreme demands in relation to safety, functionality, economic viability and durability. Our products are distributed largely through specialist retailers. Our claim is that our customers can maximise their performance by using MEA products. We pass on to our customers the benefits gained from our integrated manufacturing supply chain and from the deep and long-standing working relationship that we enjoy with strategic suppliers.
