ACP manufactures products out of GRP (glass-fibre reinforced plastics) in general. It has specialised in the development and production of SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) products as well as its tranformation in finished products by compression.   

ACP division has a modern plant in St. Dié, France.

MEA SMC Technology

The ACP strategic business unit is a leading manufacturer of GRP products.

Glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) is a capillary-free, chemical-resistant material that is made by compression moulding SMC sheets.

These SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) sheets are made by the ACP strategic business unit in application-optimised qualities and consist of high-quality polyester resign, stabile glass fibres and additional application-specific components.

The GRP products manufactured by ACP from this SMC material have a smooth surface and are light weight.

In MEA^® GRP (i.e., glass-fibre reinforced unsaturated polyester), no halogens (fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine) or other components that contain toxic heavy metals (cadmium, lead, chrome, etc.) are used.

All MEA GRP products are asbestos-free.
